As children approach school age, we support them through a positive and enriching transition to their next stage of learning whether children begin their next chapter in Reception at Our Lady’s or any other external setting.
Our team works closely with families to help prepare children for their exciting school journey by encouraging independence, curiosity, confidence, communication and developing life skills through play based learning and structured activities. We focus on helping children develop routines, social skills and a love of learning so that they are ready for the new experiences that school will bring.
Should your child join Our Lady’s for their schooling journey, joint playtimes with the current Reception class alongside Early Years assemblies, a joint nativity play and additional transition sessions to name a few, help prepare children for their transition through to the school.
